Heritage Junction

Collaborative Branding branding project

“The foundation wants to rebrand Heritage Junction, and launch a rigorous programming schedule that includes outdoor film festivals (like Hollywood cemetery), music events, dining/picnic events, theatre, and a children’s discovery festival featuring opportunities to make art, discover costume play, make food, and meet the animals from the William S. Hart property. In addition to these events, the property is also available to rent for events, weddings, parties, and filming. Their goal is to transform Heritage Square into a cool, thriving venue that celebrates culture through history, food, art, music, film, and more.”

Based on the following hypothetical, I collaborated with three other designers as a mock agency to complete the project proposal including a type and color palette, logo, illustration style, and posters and social media banners. I was specifically responsible for designing the illustrated icons and the facebook and twitter banners. I really enjoyed working as a team with these incredibly talented individuals. We communicated and created using Milanote, Discord and a text thread to create the following design deck. I was specifically responsible for the illustration style and facebook and twitter banners. This was the final deck that we used in our presentation.

I rendered the illustrated icons to represent education, events, music and exhibits.

I designed the facebook banner and created the mockup for purposes of the presentation.

This was my twitter banner design also placed in a mockup.
